With the first copper pot still to launch in London over 200 years, the 'sip-smiths', as they call themselves, have rapidly garnered worldwide acclaim as one of the finest distillers leading the micro distilling renaissance movement. The Sipsmiths are so passionate about their craft that they even have a name for their still - 'Prudence', the only one of its kind in the world. The swan motif on the Sipsmith mark is a reference to the 'swan-neck' pipe where the spirit vapour turns above the still, and is a representation of the beautiful and elegant Prudence who is at the heart of everything the sip-smiths do.
Sipsmith is one of the only gins in the world made using the traditional 'one shot' method, rather than as a concentrate. This multi gold medal winning gin is bold, complex and aromatic thanks to the botanicals sourced from all over the world. Macedonian juniper berries, Bulgarian coriander seeds, French angelica root, Spanish liquorice root, Italian orris root, Spanish ground almonds, Chinese cassia bark, Madagascan cinnamon, Sevillian orange and Spanish lemon peels are artfully mixed to craft a classic, traditional London dry gin - smooth enough for a martini, but rich and balanced, perfect for a gin & tonic.
Tasting Notes: This crystal bright and pure gin has floral, summer meadow notes, followed by mellow rounded juniper and zesty, citrus freshness. It confidently hits the palate with juniper, warms it with spice and then wrings it dry, begging you to take another sip.MRP: Rs.7600
29% ABV -500ml
This is Sipsmith’s perfect summer drink for gin lovers. To make it, they take their London Dry Gin and blend it with a host of carefully selected summery ingredients including infusions of Earl Grey tea and lemon verbena. The Summer Cup is perfect for marrying with lemonade in the sun. It's bone dry, complex and essentially 'summer in a glass'.
Tasting Notes: Rich orange, fresh cucumber and delicate tea notes on the nose. The bold juniper and zesty citrus notes on the palate are complimented by aromatic spices and hints of cherry. A long, intricate and complex, flavourful yet refreshingly dry finish.
